Author & Illustrator Tedd Arnold

TEDD ARNOLD BIOGRAPHY

Tedd Arnold like many writters/illustrators has an internet site for you to check out.

He shows you how he creates his water colour and pencil crayon illustrations; step by step.

ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATIONS AND WRITING
The story is written simply and in rhyme which is always a delight for us to read. Of course it is a mystery why Wilma is green. There is a surprise ending. So enjoy!

Tedd Arnold has a very unique style. He layers colour over colour in watercolour paint. He does it this way to create vibrant multi-dimensional colour. Once he has the colour the way that he wants, he adds texture by "scribbling" on top of the paint with coloured pencils.

But it isn't just the colour and texture that make his work recognizable. His characters all have those round bulging white eyeballs, (that word, eyeballs, always make my Granddaughters laugh) with the small black dot in the center.
